Who is responsible
NEARLY Studio, based in Pretoria, South Africa, is responsible for the personal information described here. For privacy questions or requests, email madebynearly@gmail.com.
What we collect and why
If you use our enquiry form, we collect your name, email address and project details (required), plus any optional phone number, business name or service interest you choose to provide. We use these details to respond, discuss your enquiry, prepare a quote if requested, and manage follow-up.
Please do not include passwords, payment-card details, identity numbers or other sensitive information in the form.
Services that process your enquiry
The website is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Its enquiry endpoint sends your form details to Web3Forms so the enquiry can be delivered to NEARLY Studio by email. The endpoint also sends a copy to a private Google Sheet using Google Apps Script so the enquiry can be tracked. These providers process information to provide their services and may handle it in systems outside South Africa, subject to their own terms and privacy practices.
Access to the lead spreadsheet is restricted to the people who need it to manage enquiries. We do not sell or rent enquiry information. We may disclose it if required by law or to protect our rights and systems.
Cookies and spam prevention
We do not use advertising or analytics cookies, and this website does not store a cookie preference. We use Cloudflare Turnstile on the enquiry form to help block automated spam. When you use the form, Turnstile processes technical signals such as your IP address, browser information and the website's domain for bot detection and service security. Cloudflare may use strictly necessary cookies or similar signals for this security service. See Cloudflare's Turnstile privacy addendum for details.
How long we keep it
If your enquiry does not become a client relationship, we will delete it from our enquiry records within 12 months of our last meaningful contact. If you become a client, we may keep relevant business records for as long as needed to provide the agreed services and meet applicable legal or accounting requirements.
Copies held by email and service providers may also be subject to their own retention, backup and deletion processes.
Your choices and requests
You can ask us to confirm whether we hold your information, provide a copy, correct it, or delete it where we are able to do so. You may also object to or ask us to stop a particular use. Contact madebynearly@gmail.com; we may need to verify your identity before acting. You can choose not to provide optional fields, but we may not be able to respond if you leave out your name, email address or project details.
If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact South Africa's Information Regulator.
Keeping information safe
We use reasonable measures to limit access to enquiry records and protect them. No website, email or online storage service can be guaranteed completely secure.
